We have a conversation today with Kate O’ Donnell, an expert in Ayurveda, who guides us through holistic ways to approach healing, nourishment, and menopause.
Today we discuss:
- How Kate’s upbringing created a quiet and steady space, along with plenty of encouragement to be wild.
- Kate’s childhood dream of going to India, and the study abroad opportunity in India she had that changed the course of her life.
- The basics of Ayurveda, and the tools like seasonal cleansing, abhyanga (oil massage), tongue scraping, and hot water.
- The importance of nourishment on all levels for women, especially in the transition to menopause.
- Kate’s new book and her goal to help women through all the stages of life.
