216. Healing from the Inside Out with Tyeisha Washington

Tyeisha Washington, ARNP has been a caregiver for as long as she can remember. From protecting her younger brother as a child to spending more than two decades in healthcare, caring for others has always been woven into her story.

In this episode, Tyeisha shares her path from nursing assistant to board-certified nurse practitioner and entrepreneur. She opens up about the difficult work environment that pushed her to imagine a new path—and how her daughter’s diagnosis with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis inspired her to explore a more holistic, personalized approach to wellness.

That journey ultimately led Tyeisha to create Glow Hydration Station, Aesthetics & More, a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to advocate for their health.

We explore:

  • The women who recognized Tyeisha’s gifts before she fully recognized them herself
  • Her daughter’s autoimmune diagnosis and the painful realization that her symptoms had initially been overlooked
  • Why women must trust what their bodies are telling them
  • The relationship between stress, mental health, physical health, and support
  • Tyeisha’s approach to education, holistic wellness, supplements, and IV hydration
  • The uncertainty and courage involved in leaving a steady career to become an entrepreneur
  • How a difficult childhood became a source of resilience, compassion, and purpose

Tyeisha also reflects on the “deep scar” that became her doorway to the Wild Woman. Rather than allowing her early experiences to define or diminish her, she used them to build a life rooted in strength, service, and stability.

Her story is a powerful reminder: listen to your body, trust your inner knowing, and never underestimate what can happen when another woman sees your gifts and says, “Yes, you can.”
