140. Final Episode of Season 2: It’s Been a Ride

In today’s episode we wrap up season 2 and talk about the highs and lows of the past year, what practices have been getting us through, and our hopes for upcoming season 3.  We have been so inspired by the stories and boldness of our guests.  Thank you to all our amazing guests and listeners – we appreciate all of you!

In today’s Episode we discuss:

  • Highlights from this past year on the podcast including:
    • The start of season 2 with episode 97 where astrologer and dream therapist Cathy Pagano shared with us the gifts of the feminine spirit, and how it set the tone for the season.
    • Our interviews with bold authors about bold topics – Rachel Yoder, Lyz Lenz, Sharon Blackie, Delores Reynals, Arielle Schwartz, Nina Lohman, and Jocelyn Davis.
    • Interviewing our first film Director Mandy Fabian and female law Enforcement agent Wendy Hummell.
    • Our interview with Amanda Littman, political genius and founder of “Run for Something”
    • Our powerful interview with the vibrant and inspirational Sheri Salata, the author of “The Beautiful No” and producer of the Oprah Show for many years.
  • The profound changes we have personally experienced as a result of inviting the wild woman archetype into our lives.
  • Our highs and lows from the year and how they often blend together. Kate shares her high and lows in her relationships, menopause, the empty nest, and in her coaching work.  She shares how finding micro-moments of joy have helped her navigate this next phase.  Betsy shares her highs and lows including her work with Yoga for the Mind certification during the first half of the year and then choosing to slow down due to illness. She shares how it helped her learn about finding a sweet balance.  How turning 50 and preparing to sell her house after 20 years has led her to surrender and let go of security and control.
  • The intentional practices that are supporting us and helping us get through life right now.  Kate shares how she is being more intentional in her life with more rest and less media.  Betsy shares how her meditation and journaling practices are a balm during these times.
  • Hopes and plans for season 3 of the podcast.
